Green Lentil Soup

Ingredients: (Serves 4)

  • 1 Cup Sadaf Green  lentils (pre-soaked overnight)
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 Cup fresh cilantro chopped
  • 3  cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 Cup chopped white onion
  • 3 Cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • Pinch of Turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Add all ingredients in a pot, cover and cook over low heat for one hour or until cooked. Serve warm.
