Spicy Turmeric Beef & Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Beef Tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 Chopped Garlic Cloves
  • Water, enough to cover the beef
  • 1 tsp. Soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp.Sadaf Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp.Sadaf¬†Turmeric Powder
  • 2 Red Chilies
  • 2 Small Potatoes, cut into 1″ pieces
  • 1 Yellow Pepper- cut into 1″ cube
  • 2 Scallions- cut 1″ length
  • Salt¬†& Pepper and Sugar to taste

Directions:

Put the beef in a pan or wok. Add water. just enough to cover the beef. Cook until beef is soft and water has evaporated. Stir occasionally. Add in the oil, garlic, potato, and turmeric powder. Turn down the flame, stir regularly until the beef looks cooked and the potato is soft. Add bell peppers, salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Continue stirring for 2 minutes. Check seasoning, add in the scallions. Serve over white ice.
